Sacred Heart

 

The human person is gifted with both a physical heart and a metaphysical heart. We are often concerned about the physical heart and its well-being, but the metaphysical heart is frequently neglected. True human formation depends largely on the integrity of this metaphysical heart.
When the metaphysical heart is whole and integrated, it leads a person toward holiness of heart. Holiness means to “dare to be different.” In every age, there are expectations that shape how one is supposed to live. Yet, when a person chooses to listen to the divine voice within and reorders their life accordingly, their world may appear the same outwardly, but it is perceived through a transformed perspective.
